Universal Migrator Part I & II Music Ayreon Universal Migrator Part I & II Songs Universal Migrator Part I & II Music Review Average Rating: (5 out of 5 stars) List All Reviews The Ayreon Catalogue has struck again... well as previous reviewers have already explained Arjen Anthony Lucassen is a genius and an absolute mastermind at composing brilliant music about space travel/ life on other places around the galaxy and the dawn of the universe... If you like this type of music you will love his others stuff such as his role in Star One and other good albums "The Electric Castle" which really takes you to another place similarly to the way this one does.... So get ready to blast yourself to high heaven and take of with Arjen, russell allen and Stoeboek as well as other members on this enchanted space flight... love it excellent concept album from arjen.1st cd is slower than 2nd cd but no problem for me.i like the fact that every song has a different lead vocalist. Submitted by mattcowart (antioch,tn,usa) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
unbelievable! I discovered these superb discs quite by accident...I had read a review in a magazine and found it at a reasonalbe price....when I finally listened to these discs I was blown away! the first disc is more of a prog. rock affair, even featuring Steve Morse(Spock'S Beard) on vocals on one track...then disc 2 hits you hard and fast with a fresh burst of prog. metal & rock...stellar performances on all vocals and instruments, including some heavy hitters from Symphony X and Iron Maiden. This is a must have for all fans of Prog. Metal, Prog. Rock, and Power Metal! Submitted by reverendiron (Baldwin, NY) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Another stroke of genius My God, Arjen can compose the best prog music on this planet..as well as on Mars:) He covers everything from reincarnation, space travel, Armageddon and the beginning of mankind. The singers are top notch. Russell Allen is superb. He even gets Bruce Dickinson from Iron Maiden. I was also exposed to unfamiliar singers like Robert Soeterboek who is fantastic. Human Equation is my all time favorite, but this comes in real close. If you are a musician, get it just for the talent. Submitted by Michael (East Hartford, CT.) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

Yeah, Kingdom Come were a bit too enamored with Led Zeppelin on their first album, and their career didn't last much longer after that, but at the very least they were one of the very examples of what was storming the rock charts back in 1987-1988. Zep-styled riffs and that sorta watered-down boogie-guitar swagger were everywhere, and Kingdom Come were just one of the many bands getting loads and loads of criticism from purists. Oddly, though, the kids (for a short time) loved ...
