All eight films are included in this series about a drowned camper who returns from the dead. DVD special features include commentary, featurettes. With his trademark chainsaw and frighteningly blank hockey mask, FRIDAY THE 13TH's teen-slaughtering serial killer Jason Voorhees stands as one of the most iconic characters in horror film history. This bloodcurdling collection includes the first eight FRIDAY THE 13TH films plus a special collection of bonus material. See individual titles for plot details. Friday The 13th - From Crystal Lake To Manhattan Movie Review Average Rating: (3.8 out of 5 stars) List All Reviews Love the slasher films I really love all 11 Friday the 13th movies. I have 1 through 8 individually. I love all 8 Halloween movies including Rob Zombie's Halloween. I love all 8 Hellraiser movies and all 7 nightmare on elm street movies. I also love all 4 psycho movies and I love all 6 Texas
Chainsaw Massacre movies. Jason didn't use a chainsaw, he used a machetti to kill. Leatherface used the chainsaw. The only thing that I hate about the DVD's is the fact that they come in Letterbox form. For people with regular full screen TV's need full frame DVD's not the widescreen version. I want the full frame DVD's. Submitted by kd7197 (Waco, TX USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No 2 of 2 found this helpful.

A MUST HAVE FOR FANS This collection could perhaps have been improved if the films themselves were'nt the MPAA cut versions.
As it stands though, it is a nicely packaged collection and the picture quality for all the films looks great, though a few more 'extras' wouldn't have gone amiss.
The interviews with cast and crew are entertaining enough, though the English DVD of the first Friday the 13th has a better documentary ('Return To The Crystal Lake')aswell as a commentary track for the film, sadly lacking in this box set.
Basically, if you're a fan of these movies it is a must have item, although my copy sticks during part 3 (my favourite in the series).
Finally, a note to CD UNIVERSE-Jason's trademark weapon is a machette, he never uses a chainsaw! Maybe your reviewer is getting confused with Eminem!! Submitted by Wayne Zenith (Nottingham, ENGLAND) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Great Movies The friday the 13th movies are all great.along with that there are many other great horror films to die for.
Holloween 1,2,4and so on.i skipped 3 due to the lack of mike myers.but you have movies from early 80's like Terror Train, My bloody valintine which they are doing a remake of.The original horror flick Black Christmas made in 1979 which started the slasher films. i recommend this box set. 8 SLASHER FLICKS Jason is a violent, innovative and bloody killing machine that never dies. However I think Michael Myers and Freddy Kruger are better horror characters. Theres something about Jason I dont like. He's just to ordinary and he never changes his personality and never shows emotion. His movies just get boring after a while because it's the same thing over and over agian. Jason chasing guys and girls in the woods and hunting them down and killing them. There is only so much you can watch before you get bored. The killing scenes are great, but other than that the Jason franchise could've been improved and could've been done more creatively. If you enjoy violence and blood then I reccomend this collection, other than that it's not worth the money. Submitted by Jacob44 (Washington, DC) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

$8.05 Veteran slashers Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees join forces in this combination sequel to the NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET and FRIDAY THE 13TH series. The film begins with a quick recap of both Freddy and Jason's "lives," underscoring their respective motivations to kill and their distinct weaknesses. Freddy (Robert Englund) explains that the present children of Elm St. (including Monica Keena, Jason Ritter, Katherine Isabelle, and Kelly Rowland of Destiny's Child) have no memory of him, and if they don't know he exists, he can't enter their dreams to kill them. Ingeniously, he reaches out to Jason (Ken Kirzinger), the brutish death machine from Camp Crystal Lake, to go on an Elm Street killing spree, hoping a lot of gory murder will jog the ...
