Marx Brothers Silver Screen Collection Movie Review Average Rating: (4.8 out of 5 stars) Still as funny as ever Of course these movies are over 60yrs old but, they still tickle my funny bone!!! Submitted by lilbrat98557 (Olympia WA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
historical collection Being a great fan of the Brothers' earlier work, I was delighted to see this great collection of films in a box set at last.
I know the movies by heart of course but the set itself is a stylish presentation of some of their finest moments on film.
A must-have for all Marx fans. Submitted by r.j.mullan (Adelaide, South Australia) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

High "Marx" for the Silver Screen Collection It's an era of comedy long gone, but for the comedy purist/historian, this is a spectacular collection of the Marx Brothers' best cinematic moments. Bonus video featuring rare television interviews is icing on the many layers of slapstick/vaudevillian comedy that shall never be equalled. If you've ever chuckled at Groucho's duck walk, chortled at Harpo's mute brilliance or marvelled at Chico's piano antics, you owe it to yourself to make the Silver Screen Collection yours.
