Closed Captioned; Standard Screen; Soundtrack English Learn from the experts at Hometime, who've compiled their knowledge gleaned from years spent tiling into this handy tutorial. They realize that even the most beautiful of tiles will look unattractive without the proper base, so Dean Johnson goes through all the necessary steps to laying tile for floors, countertops, and walls, explaining how to properly mix mortar and grout, choose adhesive, and how to finish and protect the tile. The DVD comes with a book that details, in addition to tiling basics, the steps for more complicated and unusual projects such as mosaics, shower stalls, and stair risers. $10.05 For his follow-up to his darkly brilliant debut, PI, director Darren Aronofsky chose to adapt a tough and meaty piece of work: Hubert Selby's 1968 novel REQUIEM FOR A DREAM, a dark spiral into the abyss of barren fantasies doomed to extinction. However, in Aronofsky's frenetic, visionary, unique, and disturbing style lies the perfect setting for this story of four people whose intertwined lives are filled with eternally hopeful despair. This is a different sort of horror film. Harry Goldfarb (Jared Leto) and Marion Silver (Jennifer Connelly) are lovers in Brooklyn with dreams of setting up a small business and spending the rest of their lives in love--their version of the American dream. The two are also desperate heroin addicts, a compulsion that darkens their lives and leads Harry to repeatedly pawn his mother's television. His mother, Sara Goldfarb (Ellen Burstyn), is addicted to television, which is why she keeps replacing the stolen set. One day she receives a call from her favorite show, the surreal TAPPY TIBBONS SHOW, and learns that she has been selected to appear on an upcoming broadcast. When she can't fit into her best red dress, her doctor prescribes diet pills (uppers), to which she swiftly ...

| | D.R.I. - Live At CBGB'S 1984 DVD (1984)
Hometime: Ceramic Tile movie DVD
$20.45 D.R.I. (Dirty Rotten Imbeciles) were among the first bands to meld hardcore punk and thrash metal, and remain among the best groups to have attempted that crossover. Counting fans of both genres among their own, the Texas-grown group was loud, fast, political, and angry. The show featured here took place at New York punk staple CBGB's, and allows audiences to travel back to 1984 to witness the mayhem that was a D.R.I. concert. Held in the same year that the band released their EP VIOLENT PACIFICATION, the concert shows the group at their best, with a violent energy that demands to be heard. Also included are highlights from another show on the same tour, held at the Masonic Temple in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, as well as skate footage from Kristian Svitak's 2004 European tour. The footage combines to make this release an important document of punk rock history, both in the past and in the making.
In the middle of one of the most explosive HC sets ever caught on camera, D.R.I cranked it up and let loose in CBGB's, the spiritual home of HC, and for the first time, you can be there, watching the band do what they do best, tearing ...
