This is a hybrid Super Audio CD playable on both regular and Super Audio CD players.
ISSAC HAYES MOVEMENT is aptly named. It was here that Hayes reached his pinnacle as an arranger and producer, generating lengthy pieces that ebbed and crested into "movements" that were worlds removed from the taut, three-minute pop songs he helped write and craft for Stax/Volt studios in the 1960s. Ironically, none of the material on MOVEMENT is penned by Hayes. Instead, he takes on four stylistically diverse tunes: the Beatles' "Something," Jerry Butler's "I Stand Accused," Chalmers/Rhodes's "One Big Unhappy Family," and the Bacharach/David ballad "I Just Don't Know What To Do With Myself."
Yet Hayes so radically transforms these songs--filling them with his meticulous orchestrations and complex horn charts--that he re-defines them as his own. The lengthy spoken prelude to "I Stand Accused" turns the song into a study of obsessive longing with an almost novelistic sweep. "Something," the album's longest cut at nearly 12 minutes, uses the full colors of an orchestra to dramatic effect, while "I Just Don't Know What To Do With Myself" is a textbook example of smooth, string-sweetened soul. Hayes gives full rein to his arranging skills on ISAAC HAYES MOVEMENT, making it one of the most ambitious, grandiose soul records of the era. **Super Audio CD (SACD) Hybrid** This CD will play in standard CD players. | Isaac Hayes Movement Music Isaac Hayes Movement Music Review Average Rating: (4.4 out of 5 stars) I Stand Accused I am studying Art and chose the lyrics of this song as my most memorable poetry or words.
Have listened to the CD a few times to get the text, but would like to quote the correct full length lyrics.
Has anybody got the lyrics or knows where I could get them.
Thanks

Out standing It has stood the test of time, for songs but a killer album. I stand accused played by the young and the old and definitely guilty of being the ultimate Hit. Just missing the first part of the lyrics.

I stand accused of loving you too much I stand accused of loving you too much
I should hope it's not a crime
Cause I'm guilty I hope I never have to testify
If I do everyone's gonna cry
That boy is guilty of loving you
Though you belong to another
And I may not stand a ghost of a chance
I'll tell the world that I love you
I'm a victim of circumstance
That's been proven guilty oh yes I have
But you know one touch of your hand
And I find myself on the witness stand
Now I walk over the land
Baby I'm guilty of loving you what can I do.
William Butler

I stand accused... Hi guys. I bought this album, for the second time (need I say) after somebody stole my first copy. Im desperately looking for the lyrics of 'I stand accused'. Isaac Hayes Movement album
$14.15 On A Few Miles from Memphis, recorded by pianist Harold Mabern in 1968, he's joined by tenors George Coleman and Buddy Terry, bassist Bill Lee, and drummer Walter Perkins for a bluesy, rhythm-filled set featuring familiar fare like "A Treat for Bea" and fun originals like "Walkin' Back." There's also the odd inclusion of "There's a Kind of Hush," a pop song that comes out sounding like an old standard here. ~ Ronnie D. Lankford Jr.
When record labels like Prestige release two albums on one CD, it's a great bargain for music fans. A Few Miles from Memphis combines the album of the same name and Rakin' and Scrapin', both recorded by pianist Harold Mabern in 1968. On the first set he's joined by tenors George Coleman and Buddy Terry, bassist Bill Lee, and drummer Walter Perkins for a bluesy, rhythm-filled set featuring familiar fare like "A Treat for Bea" and fun originals like "Walkin' Back." ...

Isaac Hayes Movement songs
$19.99 Raven presents the very best of Solomon Burke's recordings for MGM in the 1970s, many on CD for the first time. A pioneering soul singer, Burke's powerful voice and fervent emotionality were much-admired through the 1960s. At MGM, with arranger Gene Page, Solomon deftly crafted a commercial and contemporary sound - both urban pop ballads and rhythmic hymns to black empowerment, all framed around his impassioned voice. Using fractured, multi-layered background vocals (a la Marvin Gaye), and deep vocals not unlike Barry White, Burke created, over three albums, some of his most powerful, distinctive and important work. This 22-track ...
| | Ike & Tina Turner Nutbush City Limits/Feel Good CD (2006) Bonus Tracks
Isaac Hayes Movement album
$17.79 Raven's 2006 two-fer Nutbush City Limits/Feel Good combines two of Ike & Tina Turner's last albums together and adds five bonus tracks, three of which were taken from other Ike & Tina albums from the early '70s, one taken from a Tina solo record, and one disco mix of "Nutbush City Limits." The album that arrives first on this two-fer was actually the last of these two to be released: Nutbush City Limits appeared in 1973, a year after Feel Good, but its title track is one of Ike & Tina's best-known songs so it's an appropriate choice to kick off this disc. Besides, the two records are so similar in tone and approach, it'd be easy to assume that Feel Good arrived before Nutbush, but that isn't to say they're interchangeable. Both records are hard day-glo funk, overloaded with fuzz guitars, wah wahs, clavinets and horn sections, but of the two, Nutbush City Limits is a bit closer to gritty deep soul thanks to a slow-burning cover of Dobie Gray's country-soul classic ...

| | Skatalites On The Right Track CD (2007) (Import) Australia
Isaac Hayes Movement album
$14.75 The Skatalites lineup on this new recording, cut in Australia in 2006 during their first tour there, consists of just two original members of the ridiculously influential Jamaican group, drummer Lloyd Knibb and alto saxophonist Lester Sterling. But even with such legendary founders as Don Drummond and Roland Alphonso long gone, the sound produced by the Skatalites more than four decades after their inception is instantly recognizable as the one that defined the genre and set the standards that would be copied by generations of neo-ska bands. On the Right Track, the Skatalites' first album of new music since 2000, is comprised almost entirely of original material penned by the current members. Reportedly, the musicians created the songs in the studio and cut most of the songs in one take. But to its credit there's little to distinguish On the Right Track from the classic Skatalites music of old, save, perhaps, for the ...
