Mummy: The Legacy Collection DVD

 eerie,felt real life like
i really enjoyed very much.i fell into the movies.i watched all 5 movies twice the first week i owned them. my 8 year old daughter rachel loved all of them also.this is the way movies should be made,without special effects.

 A timely resurrection
Deeply occult and grimly ghoulish, the Karloff version is definitely the daddy of all Mummy movies. In the wake of effects-laden modern attempts to revive the genre this cadaverous collection provides the ideal opportunity to reassess the original version and compare it to its shuffling successors. It must be said that the sequels suffer from lack of atmosphere and become feebler as the series progresses but a few effective scenes can still be dug from the ruins.

 Good
While this is a good film, I feel that not enough of Boris Karloff in bandages was shown. I mean, it doesn't even show him walking around, just moving his arms. Still, it is a good film, and Boris Karloff is one of my all time favorite monster movie actors.

 The Mummy Rises Again..Better than Ever
Having been a fan of these classic movies for over 20 years, I was very impressed by the quality of these DVD's,My personal favorite is The Mummy's Ghost, the surprise ending is perfect for all of us "Hopeless Romantics" Universal did an excellent job remastering all of the legacy collections, These are a MUST HAVE for any fan of these classic horror movies.
