The New Underground King!!!!
Fiend comes back hard again with another underground classic. This album is one of the most complete album's I've heard in a while. When was the last time you popped in a disc and you didn't have to skip through it to get to the tracks that you like? This is one of those CD's where you don't have to skip. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, is the fact that he still had some space left on the disc to add some more tracks. Also, I feel that the two "dance" tracks could have been left out. These appear to be album fillers instead of an honest attempt to get the girls "crunk." If there were a song that you could skip over then it would be these two. However, Fiend's lyrical content is so consistent throughout the CD you might miss a clever punchline or two if you did skip them. Fiend has really stepped up the production this time as well as his lyrics. He's his clearly the most consistant underground artist out right now.
I don't know what's going on with Swizz Beats and Full Surface, but this guy needs to drop a major album, so the rest of the world can hear what us Southerners have been hearing all along.....Pure Fiyyaa!!!
