Killer production. in the style of Killswitch engage.............. only a little harder sounding on vocals. Submitted by wooberberry (altoona , pa) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
A Must Buy Agree that the vocals can be soft at some points, but its no more soft than Killswitch Engage. The screaming in between the choruses more than makes up for it. A legendary album that's honest and brutal. Rival bands are left in Caliban's wake. Its a lot cheaper than it was when it was first released, so there's no excuse for not having it in your collection now. Submitted by mr_enrique_iglesias (DSJ, Glasgow, UK) Was This Review Helpful? Caliban rox I know all caliban albums, and I can only say that they may have changed (3 bandmembers have changed between this album and "a small boy and a grey heaven") but that they're still great.
they might have exagerated a little with the singing vocals... Depends on your personal taste, all I can say this album is an absolutely must Submitted by chris626 (Berlin, Germany) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
A lot different Caliban has changed a lot since their past albums. Their other cds are heavy and brutal all the way through. Their is more melody th their newest release. I won't really say its a good or bad thing because I still think Caliban is a great band and my opinion of them hasn't changed wven though their sound has. A little soft Not quite sure if the band is maturing or being influenced elsewhere. Their sound is just not same on this one. Still, it's a good thrash album and I'd recommend it to all metalheads! Submitted by Zach R. (Canal Winchester, OH) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

Recorded at Ardmore Studios in Dublin, Ireland in January 2002. You knew the Corrs had made it when they played the final JFK Awards ceremony of the Clinton administration. Playing it would have been achievement enough, but their status as a happening thing was cemented ...

| | Artrosis In The Flowers Shade CD (2006) Digipak
Opposite From Within
$10.75 This is the English version of the third Artrosis album but with extra bonuses: picture gallery, discography and a video to "Among the Flowers and Shadows"! Artrosis, considered to be the best gothic band in Poland, presents 11 marvelous compositions making up one lyrical & musical whole. Medeahs vocal skills seem to improve with every new album and here her work exceeds anything she has done before. The English language makes her voice more "fluent" and soft. The multiple guitar solos make the record slightly varied in style and climate, though never too off-the-course of Artrosis' characteristic and unique atmosphere.
Artrosis: Medeah (vocals); Rafal Grunt (guitar); Maciej Niedzielski (keyboards); Marcin Pendowski (electric bass). Additional personnel: Artur Dominik (djembe, tabla). Perhaps more than any other era in the history of hard rock/heavy metal, the early 21st century ...
| | Genesis Turn It On Again: The Hits CD (1999)
Opposite From Within
$10.19 Genesis: Peter Gabriel (vocals, flute); Phil Collins (vocals, drums); Ray Wilson (vocals); Mike Rutherford (guitar, bass); Steve Hackett (guitar); Tony Banks (keyboards); Nir Zidkyahu (drums). Additional personnel: Andy Richard, Gerry Hughes, Jamie Muhoberac. Producers include: Trevor Horn, David Hentschel, Genesis, Hugh Padgham, Nick Davis. Engineers include: David Hentschel, Hugh Padgham, Nick Davis. Genesis: Peter Gabriel, Ray Wilson (vocals); Steve Hackett (guitars); Tony Banks (keyboards); Mike Rutherford (bass instrument); Phil Collins, Nir Zidkiyahu (drums). This 2007 limited edition release expands the original 1999 greatest-hits compilation into a two-disc, 34-track, digitally remastered extravaganza. Bonus tracks include "Counting Out Time," from the Peter Gabriel era, and "Pigeons" from the rare-ish SPOT THE PIGEON EP. Originally, there were plans for two Genesis box sets -- one covering the classic Peter Gabriel era, the other chronicling the band's development into hit-makers under the direction of Phil Collins. The Gabriel set was released in 1998, but instead of a second box following it in 1999, the single-disc Turn It on Again: The Hits appeared. Truth be told, it was a wise move, because even if the Collins set appears, ...
