Finally, Living Stereo as it was meant to sound.
My 1980's reissue of the classic album really needed an upgrade and this CD met or surpassed my expectations of how this album should sound. All the analog warmth has been restored in the SACD reissue as well as much of the dynamic range which had been lost in the earliest CD reissue. An incomparable performance that will happily be heard by a new generation of listeners who never owned the orginal LP. A thrilling CD that should be owned by every fan of classical music.
