Petula Clark: Live At The Paris Olympia is a wonderful Concert CD showing the marvelous talent of a woman who has graced across a Decade of Pop Music. Her classic English style has delighted Pop music fans for many years. Petula shows her expertise as a Pop Diva by delighting even the French audience of whom have the reputation of being hard to please. Petula Clark performs beautiful renditions of french songs although as she has stated before about her ability to speak french as "just adequate", one would think she was born French if they didn't know the Fabulous Petula Clark. Then Petula pleases the fans by performing some of her well known hits, "Don't Sleep In The Subway", "I know A Place", and the smash hit of the 60's, "Downtown". She also graces the Concert stage in France by singing the songs from her successful film appearances, "Look To The Rainbow" from Finan's Rainbow and "You And I" from Goodbye Mr. Chips a remake from an old movie. One will also get an intimate look at Petula's personal feelings about her career spanning over a decade of success and some of the people she has worked with that she has admired in the music business. Sit back and truly enjoy an Evening with the Beautifully talented MS. PETULA CLARK!
