| Good, but not great...the DVD is the one to get
The Doobies Live at Wolf Trap is a good but not great CD. There is nothing wrong with the songs, sound or muscianship. The problem lies with the editing and songs left off. First, the opening bars of Dangerous are noticeably cut out. And some really cool songs that are found on the DVD version are missing. This should have been a 2-CD and believe me, there are enough of us Doobie fans to justify a 2-CD price. I guess the rationale is that this was done on purpose to increase the DVD purchases. But at least the poorly editied Dangerous could have been fixed. Nothing like a song starting in mid-strum! :-( For long as the Doobies have been around you would think they would have more control with the finished product. Their box set had similar editing problems. So save yourself some money, skip the CD and just buy the DVD. The bands rocks and they are one of the few 70's bands that still sound as good as ever.

Anyone from the 70s or loves good music will love this.Put the dvd on and sit back and just Listen To The Music.Very good show.And TURN IT UP.The band knows how to play.One of the best.

when i saw this concert on TV, i thought, nah, this music isn't for me, but eventually my feet started tapping, and i closed my eyes, and i felt i was there, and I LOVE THE DOOBIE BROTHERS!!!!!

| Sad Day But Excellent Live Music!!!
Yes, one of the Doobie Brothers is gone that is a sad day for the fans, but the music of the Doobie Brothers still lives on. Our hearts are with the family of Knudsen and he will live forever in our hearts. This CD is excellent and live from the Doobie Brothers.

A very sad day in the world of music. Keith Knudsen passed away. He was an excellent drummer and a very nice person. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends and all Doobie's past and present. R.I.P. Brother Doobie
