5 stars strong wartime drama depicting the major events of the time
Powerful account of the major WWII events and their impact on the lives of one naval family. The performances are strong. The viewer is transported back in time to the 1940's when the World was deep in war The horrors of Theresienstadt and Auschwitz are graphically depicted along with the major battles of WWI. The viewer is given insight to Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin, Roosevelt and so on. One of the best mini series ever brought to the TV screen

Start with the winds of War, Order the entire 12 part series, it will save you shipping and may be less expensive that way. I did not know that I was not buying the entire mini series when I ordered War and Rememberence.
