Closed Captioned; Soundtrack English Widower Robert Grant is the manager of the tony Majestic Hotel, where he's raising his two sons. Robert's very nervous, because an inspector from a distinguished travel guide is due to arrive shortly, so everything MUST be perfect. But things go awry when a thief named Rutledge arrives at the hotel, and is mistaken for the inspector. Even more chaos ensues when Rutledge's assistant Dunston -- an adroit orangutan -- escapes from his cruel owner and befriends Robert's young son Kyle. With mistaken identities and simian hijinks turning the hotel upside-down, Robert's worst nightmare has just been realized.
So can he keep everything under control when the REAL inspector arrives? The usually competent manager (Jason Alexander) of a swanky hotel wants to take a vacation with his family, but when a jewel thief posing as a hotel critic checks in, the hotel's owner (Faye Dunaway) forces him to stay on. The manager watches helplessly as the jewel thief's orangutan checks in and wreaks havoc on his entire life. A fun, silly family movie with an excellent cast. Released theatrically in the USA January 12, 1996.
Color by DeLuxe.
Additional cast: Sam (Dunston, the orangutan).
Additional credits: Michael Morris Jr., James Dew, Mike Boxer, Bob Dunn (animal trainers).

Dunston Checks In film
$7.39 First out of the gate with a new band after the English Beat's acrimonious fracture in June 1983, General Public was the first post-punk supergroup, gathering the Beat's Dave Wakeling and Ranking Roger, the Specials' Horace Panter, and other veterans of the U.K. ska revival. (Mick Jones, freshly booted from the Clash, was originally announced as General Public's lead guitarist; although he left the group very early on to start up Big Audio Dynamite and doesn't appear in the album photos, his guitar does appear on nearly all of the album's ten tracks.) Frankly, All the Rage could quite easily have been the fourth English Beat album, as it's a clear continuation from 1982's Special Beat Service. The ska sounds are largely absent, replaced by a mixture of catchy Brit-pop -- someone in the group is clearly a fan of both the Beatles and Elvis Costello & the Attractions -- and occasional reggae influences. The closing track, "General Public," is a sneering putdown of British politics and the attendant old boys network, the most political song the boys had written since the days of "Stand Down Margaret" and one of their most effective reggae tunes ever, with echoes of the threatening throb of '70s classics like Culture's Two Sevens Clash. However, more of the album is along the line of the hit singles "Tenderness" ...

Dunston Checks In film
$12.65 Raven Symone's time in the spotlight began at a ridiculously young age as the precocious three-year-old Olivia who repeatedly popped by the Huxtable household in the waning years of THE COSBY SHOW. Her recording career started similarly early, with the 1993 kiddie-rap record HERE'S TO NEW DREAMS. The talented actress/singer stayed in the public eye while growing up, and at age 18 she released her third record, THIS IS MY TIME. A long way from tracks like "First Day of School" and "Hip Hop Teddybear," Symone here offers up music that ...
