5 stars Unbelievable
This is one of the most stunningly beautiful films ever shot. It also is a film for the thinking person as it examines the relationship of a father and son in the larger male communities in which they exist, as well as their evolving roles as the son matures and prepares to be an independent person.

5 stars the one with unbelievable beauty
Alexander Sokurov never fails to present you something more than Andrei Tarkovsky. This one is mildly rhythmic, lightly real, incredibly aethetic, even better than Mother & Son. Just be silent and enjoy it.
