Closed Captioned; Standard Screen; Soundtrack English With David Brent (Ricky Gervais) receiving his marching orders at the end of THE OFFICE's second season, this two-part special shines a light on what happened to Brent in his post-paper merchant career. The office itself now falls under the watchful eye of Gareth (Mackenzie Crook), who took Brent's job, with his sparring partner Tim (Martin Freeman) going to increasingly odd lengths to make Gareth's life a misery. Meanwhile, Dawn (Lucy Davis) and Lee (Joel Beckett) have moved to the sunnier climate of Florida, but don't appear to be terribly thrilled about it. Brent blew his redundancy package on a pop career, which ended before it had really begun due to an awful single (a cover of "If You Don't Know Me By Now," with requisite cheesy video), and now plys his trade as a travelling salesman who sells cleaning products. But the documentary makers have some fun in store, by bringing all the former Wernham-Hogg employees back together for the annual office Christmas party. Naturally sparks fly, but the laughs still come thick and fast, as do a few surprises as the show reaches its dramatic, and poignant, conclusion. Office Special Reviews: "One of the great charms of this curtain call for Brent and the other characters is that you find you truly care what happens to them."-- Phil Rosenthal, Chicago Sun-Times Office Special | List Price | $14.98 (You save $3.93) | | Studio | Warner Home Video | | All Time Sales Rank | 15208 | | CD Universe Part number | 6772888 | | Catalog number | 2084 | | Discs | 1 | | Release Date | Nov 16, 2004 | | Rating | Not Rated | | Movie Details | Color; Special Edition |

The Office is now closed! It's true... The Office is not for everyone. I'd like to think of it as a thinking-man's comedy, but I'm an idiot, and still enjoyed getting my weekly fix.
The Special is the "closure" all fans were praying for - and in delicious style it delivers a knockout punch that Rocky would have been proud of.
2 Emmys... bloody brilliant! Submitted by jeff (South Africa) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

Office Special DVD Three years after the cameras stopped rolling, the BBC returns to Wernham Hogg to catch up with the staff, past and present, of the most famous paper merchants in Slough. Gareth is now office manager and Tim, last seen asking Dawn out (again), appears to be nearing the point of despair. David Brent has blown his redundancy money on releasing a single, and now makes his living selling cleaning products door-to-door and making z-list celebrity appearances. Meanwhile, Dawn and her fiance Lee have relocated to Florida, but are being flown over specially by the documentary makers for the end-of-year office party. This two-part special of finally brings the story to a close, as we find out whether anyone in this life ever gets what they really want.

$11.35 Comedian and ventriloquist Jeff Dunham hits the stage with hilarious new pals Achmed the Dead Terrorist and Melvin the Super hero, as well as old favorites Peanut, Walter, and Jose Jalapeno, in this sidesplitting performance at Washington D.C.'s Warner Theater.
More than just a stand-up comic, Jeff Dunham is a one-man comedy troupe--a ring-leader in a circus of snark. The veteran ventriloquist may be the only one with vocal chords, but he’s often the least vocal, playing straight man to a steam trunk of personalities: Achmed the Dead Terrorist, a goofball skeleton still fighting the infidels; Peanut, an odd purple creature with a fast mouth; Jose Jalapeño, a smooth-talking pepper on a stick; Bubba J, NASCAR’s biggest fan; and Walter, a dirty old man who speaks his mind. Together with his hilarious and irreverent puppets, Dunham riffs on everything from politics to family life, and slays the audience with his quick-witted banter. SPARK OF INSANITY features one of Dunham’s funniest performances, recorded live at Washington D.C.’s Warner Theater.
Jeff Dunham has become one of the most successful touring comics ever and has amassed legions of loyal fans! At the American ...

$7.09 GUYANA: CRIME OF THE CENTURY: Scenes so brutal they were dubbed THE CRIME OF THE CENTURY unfolded in Guyana in 1978, and are retold in this dramatization of events. The small South American country had provided a haven for a maverick American preacher by the name of Rev. Jim Johnson (Stuart Whitman), otherwise known as Jim Jones. Afraid that the CIA were after him, Jones and his sizeable congregation moved to Guyana, where they practiced away from prying eyes. But under the spell of Jones, something went horribly wrong. Orgies, torture, and violence proliferated throughout the community, with Jones leading his followers on a journey into the dark reaches of the soul, reaping some unholy consequences as a result. Director Rene Cardon Jr's attempt at retelling the story of Jones and his cohorts is a powerful, moving work that looks at how a potent mixture ...
