Terror Propaganda: Second Black Metal Attack CD music
$13.35 Immortal's Nuclear Blast debut, and this Norwegian trio's seventh album to date, Sons of Northern Darkness, marks a monumental statement that reverberates throughout the black metal community. Sons of Northern Darkness is arguably one of the best black metal releases ever put forth, as it fully articulates what many other bands of ...
| | Nattefrost Blood & Vomit CD (2004)
Terror Propaganda: Second Black Metal Attack music CDs
$14.05 Literalism is apparently Nattefrost's aim with his debut solo effort, Blood & Vomit: the minute-long intro to "The Art of Spiritual Purification" is literally the stomach-churning sound of the Carpathian Forest frontman vomiting. Childish, yes, and vile, indubitably -- especially when the track "Nattefrost Takes a Piss" is nothing but the sound of the man unbuckling his belt and urinating into a toilet. And why is this ...

Terror Propaganda: Second Black Metal Attack CD music
$13.59 Considering how vehemently punk and progressive rock audiences detested each other back in the late '70s, it is truly ironic that the prog rock element has become so strong in melodic death metal and symphonic black metal. The death metal/black metal field, after all, wouldn't have existed were it not for punk; black metal came out of death metal, which came out of thrash (the first true fusion of metal and punk). But then, dogma and sectarianism are things that intelligent musicians ultimately reject, which is why a symphonic black metal jewel like Ruun can be influenced by Pink Floyd (among many others) even though black metal's overall debt to punk remains undeniable (for that matter, very little post-'80s metal doesn't have some type of punk influence). There are some black metal purists who would argue that ...

Terror Propaganda: Second Black Metal Attack music CDs
$10.15 Biography: Rene Jones Born & raised in Columbus, Ga., Rene was introduced to music at an early age. Being the daughter of a church choir pianist made it easy for music to be imbedded deep in her spirit. Once of age, she became a member in the choir her mother played for, thus beginning her journey in music. "I've always been ahead of my years in terms of the music that captured my attention. I'm greatly influenced by the old-school music my Mom would play around the house." Rene has an appreciation for all genres of music. I love good music in general. “I listen to music from The O’Jays, Donnie Hathaway, Floetry, Maroon 5, John Mayer, George Duke and Jay-Z to Shania Twain.” Her musical influences include Angie Stone, Anita Baker, Jill Scott and Toni Braxton. "I initially began writing poetry. Soon after, the poetry and my love of good music combined and turned into songwriting. I love the art of creating good music...music with a message." Rene is the executive producer of her independent debut album "Chill Factor". The album was released January 2007. This album is a collection of love songs. Love of lovers, love of self, love of good feelings & love of inspiration. On this album Rene displays exceptional skill in writing songs that tell a complete story or conveys an emotion from beginning to end. Rene has had the privilege and great experience of working with some very talented producers, songwriters and vocalists on this album. According to Rene, "The entire project has seemed destined from the beginning ...
