Awful acting, cheesy sets and costumes, an incoherent plot, a 10-year-old Pia Zadora, and Marx pop guns subbing as freeze-o-rays make for a holiday camp treat. The DVD case says it's digitally remastered, but the color is still pretty washed out (even changes hues at one point), and you can see various scratches and squigglies from the old film. I don't know if other DVD releases are any better. Includes a cartoon and a Sherlock Holmes Christmas short, but who really needs them. At least this DVD is cheap.

 Campy Fun for Christmas--so bad it's good!
5 stars for this movie because Christmas just isn't Christmas without this little gem--campy beyond belief, "It's a Wonderful Life" it ain't----but gather your friends and family, pop this movie into the vcr, and expect to laugh your heads off at the bad makeup and costumes, cheap sets, silly dialog, obvious plotting, and overenthusiactic children singing "Hooray for Santy Claus!" It's so bad it's good for a MILLION laughs as Billy and Betty help Santa Claus conquer the Martians.

This German release combines two albums by psychedelic rock pioneers the Doors: OTHER VOICES (1971) and FULL CIRCLE (1972).
This European import CD contains both Doors' LPs Other Voices (1971) and Full Circle (1972). John Densmore (drums/vocals), Ray Manzarek (keyboards/bass pedals/vocals) and Robbie Krieger (guitar/vocals) anticipated having new material readied once Jim Morrison returned from his sabbatical in Paris, France. As his vocals would not be forthcoming, the remaining three-piece lineup forged ahead to complete the tracks. With stylistic continuity bleeding over from L.A. Woman, Other Voices is considered the most cohesive of the pair with primary entries including the blues-fueled opener "In the Eye of the Sun" and the esoteric love song "Ships w/ Sails."
