The footage is taken from London's Royal Albert Hall in January 1970, London's Earls Court in May 1975, Knebworth in August 1979, and Madison Square Garden in July 1973. Trower's career has spanned more than four decades and he is considered to be one of the finest guitarists in Rock n' Roll history. He spent the early 60's playing guitar in various London based outfits, and received his big break 1967 joining Procol Harum. Beginning with Pink Floyd's "Shine On You Crazy Diamond," we subsequently find Gilmour interpreting two Syd Barrett songs ("Terrapin" and "Dominoes"), a performance from Bizet's opera "The Pearl Fishers," a few more Floyd tunes, and a selection of solo Gilmour delights. Rick Wright, Robert Wyatt and Bob Geldof make surprise appearances, and the whole performance is cemented by a stunning gospel choir lead by Sam Brown. This DVD was filmed live at his Meltdown Festival concert in London's Royal Festival hall in June 2001, with additional footage from David Gilmour's three concerts at the same venue in January 2002. It also includes guest appearances from Rock Wright, Robert Wyatt and Sir Bob Geldof and includes 16 songs.
