Blazing Bluegrass Banjo With Greg Cahill - Vol. 2 DVD

The second volume of bluegrass virtuoso Greg Cahill's tutorial builds upon the skills learned in the first, which introduced jamming skills and basic chord theory and songs. Here, students are exposed to alternate keys and timing, including the Irish jig "Danny's Dance" in 6/8 timing and the "Margarita Breakdown" using Scruggs style rolls. "Fisher's Hornpipe," known for it's difficulty, is made accessible through Cahill's master teaching, and the diminished chord is made surprisingly easy! Students will also learn how to play with a capo. Other tunes included are "Old Joe Clark," "Fireball Mail," "Soldier's Joy" and "Sweet Dixie (Home Sweet Home)."
