Morcheeba plays a stunning 2002 set at Brixton Academy and then embarks on a tour of China in 2003. The bonus 24-minute tour documentary shows footage of the band playing live in Beijing and discussing their experiences in China. Morcheeba distinguished itself from many acts in the mid-1990s electronica revival with its trip-hop grooves and liquid vocals of singer Sky Edwards. With a mixture of jazz fusion, funk, and blues, Morcheeba became a popular dance band. Brothers Ross and Paul Godfrey pull in opposite directions, with Ross handling the more organic range of instrumentation, from guitar to Hammond organ, while Paul takes care of programming and turntable work.
