| | Phillips, Craig & Dean Let The Worshippers Arise CD Phillips, Craig & Dean Discography of CDs
(2 Customer Reviews)
Phillips, Craig & Dean have never been ones to get heavy-handed with their inspirational music, approaching the topic of salvation from a thoughtful, vulnerable, often humorous but still awestruck perspective. LET THE WORSHIPPERS ARISE, while more straight-forward and traditional than most of their records (save for its somewhat playful "I'm Making Melody") retains the trio's trademark approach to CCM, which has earned them a sizeable following.
Randy Phillips, Shawn Craig, and Dan Dean are all pastors at their respective churches, and one would imagine their services to be--while devotional--unpredictable, zestful, and awash in positivity. LET THE WORSHIPPERS ARISE is suffused with this sort of buoyant spirit; the opening track "Friend of God" starts slow and introspective but quickly builds to a thoroughly catchy climax in its chorus. There are mini-raptures like that throughout the pleasing record, a breezy glorification of the trio's beliefs. LET THE WORSHIPPERS ARISE continues Phillips, Craig & Dean's tradition of enjoyable Christian, country-influenced rock.

Let The Worshippers Arise album
$14.95 Recorded live at The Carpenter's Home Church, Lakeland, Florida on June 1, 2001 and at Bridgeway Studio, Nashville, Tennessee.
WORSHIP was nominated for the 2002 Grammy Award for Best Pop/Contemporary Gospel Album.
While Michael W. Smith has made his name in Christian music as a singer-songwriter possessed of prolific abilities, WORSHIP finds him putting down his pen for a moment to sing the songs of others. There's been so much activity in the worship music scene, so many songs written, that even a respected auteur like Smith recognized the need to document some of the more affecting tunes in one place. He does so here with the help of some luminaries from the Christian music world, including ...
| | Amy Grant Collection CD (1986) Reissue; Remastered
Let The Worshippers Arise CD music
$12.05 Depending on their tastes, record buyers are likely to have had one of two different reactions when they came upon the Amy Grant compilation Collection in its initial LP and cassette releases in the summer of 1986. General music fans, aware of Grant, if at all, only for her 1985 Top 40 pop hit "Find a Way," may have wondered why this one-hit wonder deserved a best-of so soon. But contemporary Christian music (CCM) fans would have been surprised that it wasn't a double album. After all, over the previous eight years, Grant had scored 22 hits on CCM radio according to CCM magazine, all but three of them in the Top Ten. Collection, originally containing only ten tracks with a running time ...
