| Richard Pryor & Gene Wilder Hit a Grand Slam Home Run!
Silver Streak DVD Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder were never so good together in this cross country flick. I laughed until I about cried. Richard has all the good lines in this one. This movie is now 29 years old but it is still one of my all time flicks of this dynamic duo. Glad to see it is finally on DVD. Thanks CD Universe for getting it here. I highly recommend this one for anyone who has any kind of sense of humor. If you don't think this movie is funny after watching, then you are comically retarded. It would be like saying Jim Carrey is not funny. I rest my case.

| Silver Streak gets the gold medal!
Easily the best of the Gene Wilder/Richard Pryor collaborations, this thriller has not dated despite the fact that it was made nearly 30 years ago. A great plot, with an excellent supporting cast, the balance between tension and humour is spot on. The scene where Wilder disguises himself as black in order to get past a police checkpoint is hilarious, whilst the runaway train ending has become one of the great classic film scenes. Finally available on DVD (having been virtually impossible to get hold of previously on VHS) this deserves a place in anyone's top 30 films.

| A classic movie
This movie is one of my all time favorite movies ever. My VHS version was wearing out. I'm so glad it came out on DVD. Great cast!

| good movie
Most people know this as a good movie but some reviewers said the video transfer was not good enough. I thought the picture quality was good maybe 'cause of the tv I have. I almost didn't buy it because of the reviews but the picture quality is good. At this price it's a pretty good deal unless you really want more extras. But the movie itself and the trailer (which is included) is all I usually want.
