After he's outed at his Midwestern precinct, gay cop John (Jonathan Wade Drahos) heads to Los Angeles to stay with his cousin Tad (Daniel Kucan), a documentary filmmaker chronicling the local gay scene. Naďve and closeted for a little too long, John only needs one little sniff and he's totally sucked into the world of "circuit" parties, drug-fueled gay raves full of steamy sex, thumping disco, steroid-amped bodies, and soap opera-style interpersonal drama. Soon his life is spiraling out of control and it's time to learn some valuable lessons. Ex-Playgirl centerfold Dirk Shafer directs CIRCUIT from a script he wrote with producer Gregory Hinton. Kiersten Warren adds some estrogen and humor as John's college pal who has also come to L.A. to pursue her career as a stand-up comic. Jim J.
