Motown Two album for sale Product Description
Motown Two album for sale by Michael Mcdonald was released Oct 26, 2004 on the Motown (Record Label) label. MOTOWN TWO again pairs the former Doobie Brother with a collection of A-list pop studio musicians (bassist Nathan East, drummer Vinnie Colaiuta, etc. Motown Two songs ), but also features several key cameos. Stevie Wonder contributes his immediately identifiable harmonica stylings on "I Was Made to Love Her," while Toni Braxton proves a worthy heir to the Motown divas of yore on "Stop, Look, Listen (To Your Heart)." Interestingly enough, the smooth production style and the Teddy Pendergrass-esque gruffness of McDonald's voice often make the record seem more like 1970s Philadelphia than '60s Detroit. Motown Two CD music contains a single disc with 14 songs. ...See Full Description

fantastic sequel to the first "Motown" his voice lend itself extremely well to the "motown" classics. It's great to her these tunes again, by such a great talent. By onthelabel (maine)
Revisiting Motown Lacks the killer track of "Motown One" ("Ain't No Mountain High Enough"), but cut for cut is far superior. Any time Michael takes on Levi Stubbs ("Reach Out" and "Baby, I Need Your Lovin'"), we all win. By craigsaustin (Vallejo, California)
McDonald doesn't disappoint If you liked the first Michael McDonald "Motown"-album from last year you will not be disappointed. McDonald delivers some of Motown's greatest moments in his own blue-eyed soul style. By allanotto (Denmark, Europe)
Excellent Follow-up to Motown Amazing collection of classics from an amazing artist! I had the pleasure of seeing Michael McDonald during the Rock N Soul Review 04 tour which prompted me to buy this cd and I couldn't be happier! Excellent job Michael! This is a must for any fan of Mowtown!! By nm_titania (Carlsbad, NM USA)
This CD is great!! Mowtown Two is as good, if not better than Mowtown One. Michael's soulfully expressive voice is well suited for the music of Mowtown. By bobballard (Evansville, In. USA)
