DVD features include 5.1 Dolby digital surround, 2.0 Dolby digital audio mixes, extensive photo gallery, and newly recorded band interviews. Having entertained an enormous volume of music fans over their lengthy career, The Doobie Brothers reunited at the start of the 21st Century, and set about winning over a whole new generation of listeners. This concert was filmed in 2004, and sees the band working their way through a delicious selection of material. A huge crowd laps up the retro sounds emitting from the stage, with the Doobie's performing hit after hit after hit. Doobie Brothers - Live At Wolf Trap Movie Review Average Rating: (4.9 out of 5 stars) List All Reviews Quite Good! They may look a little older but the music sounds just as good (db5.1) or better. And the picute quality is excellent. A good buy. Submitted by John K. (Houston, TX) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
A 70's dreamfest! If you liked the Doob's in the 70's you'll love this DVD. I was thrilled at the musicianship of these guys. Unlike the bands of today, the Doobie Brothers possess that magic that has made their music last through the years. Get it. Sit back and ENJOY! still fresh after all these years The Doobie Brothers' sound is still as fresh today as it was in the 70's. Even if you have heard these tunes hundreds of times you'll find it relaxing and fun. These guys have great melodies, crisp chops and still enjoy playing and you can tell it by watching this concert. Ah, who today has such instantly memorable and timeless tunes. Tom and Pat - like old times The Doobie Brothers went through many different formations over the years and if you are more a guitar-Doobie than a Michael McDonald-Doobie, you are going to love this DVD. While I did miss Skunk Baxter and Michael McDonald in some cases, it was great to see Tom Johnston back in top form. We all get older but Patrick Simmons and Tom Johnston are, as they even admit in the special features, playing some of the best of their career. The band is tight. The audio is what I had hoped for in a Doobie-DVD concert: outstanding. I highly recommend this DVD for any Doobie fan, and especially for all the Doobie guitar fans. $22.75 Very few Led Zeppelin performances were caught on camera during the band's life-span, but the footage that has been preserved for posterity is collected on this release. With a running time of over five-and-a-half hours, this is the definitive word on Zep's global stage-straddling performances. The footage is taken from London's Royal Albert Hall in January 1970, London's Earls Court in May 1975, Knebworth in August 1979, ...

$22.75 The list of accomplishments and accolades accumulated by The Eagles is too long to recount, their music having been a staple of American music since the 1970s, and their popularity never waning. With five number-one singles and four number-one albums, two of which are among the best-selling records of all time, the group has helped form the backbone of classic rock; hits like "Desperado," "Hotel California," and "Lyin' Eyes" are instantly ...

Doobie Brothers - Live At Wolf Trap film
$11.15 Dutch director Paul Verhoeven (TOTAL RECALL, ROBOCOP) mixes big budget bug bashing with twisted satire of old Hollywood movies in this adaptation of Robert Heinlein's classic sci-fi novel. It's the future, Earth is at war, and the kids are all going off to fight giant killer bugs on the remote planet of Klendathu. Casper Van Diem, Denise Richards, Dina Meyer, and Patrick Muldoon play some of the blandly attractive young recruits who engage in soap-opera style love triangles as they toughen up and learn to fight (and die) like soldiers. Michael Ironside is their gung-ho, one-armed leader. The real stars though, are the superbly animated bugs. Packed to the rafters with jaw-dropping ...
