Cabaret Style Finian
I was surprised when I played this CD in that, although it has a full cast of good singers, there is no orchestra.

As much as I enjoy this score....
the fact that it is a 2 piano accompaniment is a BIG problem for me. Yes, the voices and diction are great but the next time I have a desire to hear the score I doubt I'll be pulling this version out.

This Is NOT A Soundtrack!
For some reason the provider of this CD labels it a "SOUNDTRACK". This is not a motion picture soundtrack. I can't tell if this is the current Broadway cast recording or an Irish group recording? Note: I recall seeing Finian's Rainbow at the Shubert Theatre in Chicago in 1947... my first roadshow musical.
