Darryl Worley album for sale Product Description
Following up the success of his patriotic 2003 outing, HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN?, Darryl Worley turns the rhetoric down a bit with a self-titled follow-up that cleaves more to the traditional country-music topics of fidelity, putting in an honest day's work, and living a good life. Producer Frank Rogers helps Worley to cobble together the kind of honky-tonk-flavored fare that seems to be a rarity on the country airwaves in the early 2000s. ...See Full Description

Toby Keith Greatest Hits, Vol. 2 CD (2004) Top Seller
Darryl Worley CD music All tracks have been digitally mastered using HDCD technology.
Although Toby Keith was a regular resident of the Billboard country charts for nearly 10 years before the release of 2002's UNLEASHED, it was that album and its attendant pro-Iraq War anthem, "Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue (The Angry American)," that catapulted him to genuine superstar status. The Oklahoma-born singer is often criticized for his politically conservative beliefs, but one listen to GREATEST HITS 2 will make it hard for any listener to resist Keith's warm, commanding baritone, dance-floor-ready neo-traditionalist rhythms, and sharp songwriting.
Though it doesn't present anything from Keith's massively popular 2003 record SHOCK'N Y'ALL, the disc does collect many of the best moments from UNLEASHED, PULL MY CHAIN, and HOW ...

Sugarland Twice the Speed of Life CD (2004)
Darryl Worley songs Fronted by the seriously soulful vocalist Jennifer Nettles, Sugarland is a trio that makes immediately accessible, radio-ready country-pop. Singer/songwriters Kristen Hall and Kristian Bush comprise the other two-thirds of the group, and together they generate a sound that is equal parts backwoods twang, urban-cowgirl glamour, and suburban working-class malaise, a mix that will undoubtedly appeal to all three demographics. TWICE THE SPEED OF LIFE is Sugarland's full-length debut, and it fulfills the promise of its major-label status by delivering the goods in full.
While the crisp production, Nettles's gospel-inflected alto, and Hall and Bush's sweet, multi-part harmonies are what catch the ear on first listen, the secret weapon here is the quality of the songwriting. "Something More" bemoans the dreariness of 9-to-5 life and yearns for transcendence in its memorable, ...

Brad Paisley Time Well Wasted CD (2005) Top Seller
Darryl Worley album for sale Brad Paisley's music is an interesting amalgam of country sub-genres, a paradigm all its own. He melds straightforward, pop-friendly New Country with clever, somewhat Lyle Lovett-like songwriting and the occasional flutter of Joe Maphis/Jimmy Bryant-style guitar virtuosity. Surprisingly or not, this country combo platter made Paisley a star, and TIME WELL WASTED continues in the aforementioned vein. While there are some fairly mainstream moments here that wouldn't ruffle the feathers of, say, the average Kenny Chesney fan, WASTED boasts plenty of smart, sassy tunes brimming with lyrical witticisms worthy of Tom T. Hall or Shel Silverstein. "Alcohol," for example, is a first-person narrative from the beverage's point of view, and in retrospect it's shocking that it took this long to get written. Guest shots from both Dolly Parton and ...

Blake Shelton Blake Shelton's Barn & Grill CD (2004)
Darryl Worley buy CD music Blake Shelton's third album showcases a young country singer/songwriter with a penchant for storytelling and a willingness to mix poignancy and humor. On the opening track, "Some Beach," Shelton engages in a lighthearted romp highlighting the Jimmy Buffett influence that seemed to become more and more prevalent among country artists in the early 2000s. A tropical lilt is also present in the self-effacing "On a Good Day," which goes so far as to flirt with a reggae groove.
While Shelton delves into deeper emotions on "When Somebody Knows You That Well" and the grandly unfolding "The Bartender," perhaps the most striking moment on BARN & GRILL is the closing song, "I Drink." Penned by cult-favorite alt-country songwriter Mary Gauthier, it deftly traces a drinking problem back to a troubled childhood ...

Joe Nichols III CD (2005)
Darryl Worley songs III starts off with two songs that seem to play on novelty: "Size Matters (Someday)" and III's first single "Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off" (a song reputedly written--though it tests believability--about the singer's grandmother). These tunes are somewhat lightweight for Nichols, yet he pulls them off with a charm that balances the serious roots aesthetic apparent throughout the rest of this strong release.
Joe Nichols's III (which is, ironically, the artist's seventh release) gives listeners another strong dose of contemporary country with a new-traditionalist flair. Nichols knows his way around a country tune, giving a tip of the hat to old school Nashville (as on "Should I Come Home (Or Should I Go Crazy)") and laying down some serious emotion on tear-in-your-beer ballads like "I'll Wait for You."
Personnel: Joe ...

Have You Forgotten? CD (2003)
Darryl Worley album for sale All tracks have been digitally mastered using HDCD technology.
The shot of young Darryl Worley standing before a flag on the cover of HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN?, is but one clue to the patriotic manna contained within that's struck a chord with the conservative contingency that makes up so much of mainstream country music's fan base. The cornerstone of Worley's third album is the title track, an unabashedly patriotic anthem invoking images of 9/11 and Osama Bin Laden, inspired by a USO tour of Afghanistan that the Tennessee native made over the 2002 Christmas holidays. With an overwhelmingly positive public clamoring for more, Dreamworks wasted no time cobbling together this collection of 16 songs, 12 of them coming from Worley's first two records.
Not surprisingly, a number of other songs feature ...
