The remainder of the album is equally effective, positioning Evans as the Rhianna of summer 2008.

Born and raised near Chicago, music was always an escape. Playing trumpet as a teen-ager, singing harmony with his brothers and friends just felt so good. Kenny’s introduction to the guitar came in the late sixties during a two-year stint in the army while stationed in Washington DC. He borrowed a guitar from a friend in the barracks.
