Within Temptation is a project headed by singer Sharon den Adel and guitarist Robert Westerholt. SILENT FORCE contains the songs "See Who I Am" and "Angels," among others, as well as the video for "Stand My Ground."
Available in the U.S. for the first time in 2008, Dutch symphonic rock heroes Within Temptation's 2004 epic, THE SILENT FORCE, continued the band's incomparable blend of classical, New Age, opera, and heavy metal music. In addition, the latter-day prog rockers' fourth studio release topped the charts all over Europe and scored two major singles ("Stand My Ground" and "Memories").

I liked this cd alot better than 'Mother Earth'. 'Mother Earth' had a few good songs in itself, but I was very, very impressed with 'Silent Force'. If your just getting into this band this album is a MUST!

This album doesnt deserve a 5 because there are only 8 songs i really like. Jane Doe is very good, but the intro and see who i am is the highlight. The first seven songs are quite strong, then its bland and repetetive until Jane Doe

I am new to this genre of music. I started with Nightwish and Epica, and am expanding from there. This band is a fantastic addition to my collection. From the excellent vocals and choirs, to the pounding beat, great guitar work, and symphonic feel to the music, you can't go wrong. The lead singer's voice is not as operatic sounding as Nightwish's, which is good....keeps them in the same class but not as clones. I enjoyed this cd immensely.

David Bryan's solo piano recording Lunar Eclipse is an absolutely beautiful, stunning, melodic collection of songs culminating his 17 years as a founding member of Bon Jovi. The pianist/composer/vocalist has sold over 90 million albums as a member of the acclaimed rock group and the compositions on this CD reveal a truly different side of his piano and MIDI orchestration mastery that should translate all over the world.
