Crow Left of the Murder... songs Product Information
Crow Left of the Murder... album for sale by Incubus was released Feb 08, 2005 on the Epic label. The requisite elements that Incubus fans have come to expect are firmly in place on A CROW LEFT OF THE MURDER, with the up-tempo bombast of "Megalomaniac" and "Beware? Both bass players are legends. I think that the new bass player adds in a new dimension and layer that the band were lacking on morning view. (Dirks playing on make yourself was insane though) All of their albums since S.C.I.E.N.C.E have been really strong and solid, free of album fillers. They are all quite different and that keeps incubus interesting. This album is more progressive than morning view but still has a lot of hooks.I can't help but wonder if Incubus would have remained fresh with the same bass player. Give it a few plays before you judge, and don't judge a mean album on the chessy kinda lame single Meglomaniac... Can't wait for the new album. Incubus are the best rock band around at the moment.

This album does not add up to the others, there seems to be something missing... oh the Great bass player Dirk Lance. So far I'm not liking the band as much without him. Will see if their next album is any better. There are only a couple of song on here that are good, only two. I do like the song "make a move" from the soundtrack "Stealth" too bad it's not on this album.

I appreciate the fact that Incubus is willing to attempt new styles of music and stretch there talent and this album has them experimenting with a new sound once again but is not a strong effort. Any Incubus fan would agree that this is probably there weakest effort. Although there are a few songs that can be enjoyable like "Sick, sad little world" and "Megalomaniac" but the album is just not all that great. If you want to hear brilliant Incubus listen to there last album, Morning View.

An essential album. Takes a bit to grow as it is quite different to the old Incubus stuff but is well worth the wait. Highly repeatable. Morning View seemed quite a tired album but Incubus have a fresh new energy with the new bassist. Get it. Highlight: Beware Criminal
