Personnel: Alejandro Sanz (vocals); Michael Landau (electric guitar); Michael McClelland, Scott Odonnell, Debra Spring (viola); Chris Glansdorp (cello); Lulo Perez (piano, keyboards, programming, background vocals); Jimmy Haslip (bass instrument); Vinnie Colaiuta (drums); Luis Dulzaides (percussion); Eddie Thomas , Wendy Pedersen (background vocals). Featuring 43 songs over the course of three CDs, Grandes Éxitos 91_04 has all of Alejandro Sanz's biggest hits, some rarities, and fan favorites. The first disc is devoted to the hits extracted from the 1991-1996 period, while the second includes the ones from 1997-2004. These two discs can be bought separately under the names Grandes Éxitos 91_96 and Grandes Éxitos 97_04, respectively. Both discs provide a coherent journey through his greatest singles and are especially interesting for casual listeners who want all the hits in one single place. The third disc includes rarities, outtakes, duets, and unpublished material. This is especially interesting for die-hard fans. For some listeners, it may be too much material to digest, especially in one sitting, but there are no doubts that this is a good sample of Sanz's work and capabilities. ~ Iván Adaime Grandes Exitos 91-04 Music | List Price | $29.98 (You save $8.39) | | Category | International Albums, Pop CDs, Latin, Regional Mexican, Spanish, Latin Pop, Box Sets | | Label | Weasel Disc | | Orig Year | 2004 | | All Time Sales Rank | 19909 | | CD Universe Part number | 6795751 | | Catalog number | 61972 | | Discs | 3 | | Release Date | Nov 16, 2004 | | Studio/Live | Studio | | Mono/Stereo | Stereo | | Producer | Emanuele Ruffinengo; Lulo Perez; Miguel Angel Arenas; Humberto Gatica; Nacho Mano | | Personnel | Vinnie Colaiuta - drums Michael Landau - electric guitar Jimmy Haslip - bass instrument Alejandro Sanz - vocals Wendy Pedersen - background vocals Lulo Perez - piano, keyboards, programming, background vocals Luis Dulzaides - percussion Eddie Thomas Chris Glansdorp - cello Debra Spring - viola Michael McClelland

Personnel: Paul Butterfield (vocals, harmonica); Sam Lay (vocals, drums); Elvin Bishop (guitar); Mike Bloomfield (slide guitar); Jerome Arnold (bass); Mark Naftalin (organ). Includes liner notes by Pete Welding. The Paul Butterfield Blues Band: Michael Bloomfield. Even after his death, Paul Butterfield's music didn't receive the accolades that were so deserved. Outputting styles adopted from Howlin' Wolf and Muddy Waters among other blues greats, Butterfield became one of the first white singers to rekindle blues music through the course of the mid-'60s. His debut album, The Paul Butterfield Blues Band, saw him teaming up with guitarists Elvin Bishop and Mike Bloomfield, with Jerome Arnold ...
| | VH1 Presents The Corrs Live In Dublin CD (2002)
Grandes Exitos 91-04
$6.39 The Corrs: Jim Corr (vocals, guitar, keyboards); Sharon Corr (vocals, violin); Andrea Corr (vocals, tin whistle); Caroline Corr (vocals, drums, bodhran, percussion). Recorded at Ardmore Studios in Dublin, Ireland in January 2002. You knew the Corrs had made it when they played the final JFK Awards ceremony of the Clinton administration. Playing it would have been achievement enough, but their status as a happening thing was cemented at the end of the ceremony, during the encores, when everybody was taking their final bows. Bill moseyed up over to Andrea, put his arm around her, and when she was looking away, sized her up -- at precisely the same moment Chuck Berry was checking her out. If that doesn't mean that you've broken America, entering its pop culture, I don't know what does, expect for maybe a VH1-endorsed piece of product like Live in Dublin. Lo and behold, ...
