this is one of those movies you really have to sit and concentrate on, it started off real slow to me... for most of the movie it was slow, but I watched it and glad I did.

Pinky video They don't make em like this anymore. The acting in this movie was superb. Jeanne Crain, should have gotten an oscar.

| A Great Classic!
Like so many other classics why aren't they making it to DVD versions? This is one of my top 25 movies of all time.

| A fine, inspiring movie
A powerful story of personal sacrifice and growth. The main characters were true to their convictions. Very inspiring, very moving. I saw this many many years ago and still remember it vividly with great fondness.
