I finally find this great cd that i searched after for so long, if anyone likes pure disco from 80's then i strongly recommend this cd.

One of the best ITALO DISCO ZYX records putting together. All songs are in full length and not a short dance remix version, total of 12/CD 36 songs in all. I agreed this is a must have Italo Disco collection.

This three cd collection is a must have who enjoyed artists such as Modern Talking, K.B. Kaps, Grant Miller, Patty Ryan, Mike Mareen, etc. While this collection focuses mostly on the catchy, melodic "Asian New Wave" sound that came out of Germany and Italy during the mid-eighties it's strong point is the fact that 98% of the thirty six songs are the full length 12" versions. And all are separate not blended into one another. And to top it off they're all 24 bit digitally remastered. What a bargain at under twelve bucks. Try and find these singles on vinyl - you won't. A must have for lovers of eighties Euro Dance.

This is a 2003 release by Argentinian alt-rock outfit Divididos.
2003 winner of the Premio Gardel (Argentina's equivalent to a Latin Grammy) for Best Rock Group Album. The latin ska/rock band from Argentina came to be from the ashes of the breakup of the band Sumo following the death of vocalist Luca Prodan. Sumo wasn't forgotten and the band was always asked to play their old songs. In 1991, after meeting producer Gustavo Santaolalla (Caifanes, Julieta Venegas, Amores Perros), Divididos moved to the U.S. to record with him.

A pioneer in the formation of reggae in Jamaica in the early '60s, guitarist Ernest Ranglin has had a dual career ever since: as a fine jazz improviser and as a highly influential force in reggae. On this set of catchy if repetitive rhythmic tunes, Ranglin combines the two idioms. The backup band primarily plays reggae rhythms and is in a subsidiary role, keeping the music grooving. It is a pity that none of the sidemen have an opportunity to be featured other than a so-so tenor solo on "Diamond." Ranglin is the main voice throughout, sometimes showing off his jazz chops (and sounding a little like Wes Montgomery or Johnny Smith) and at other times sticking to reggae. The individual songs are interchangeable and not particularly memorable, but the overall feel of the album should satisfy fans of instrumental reggae (only one song has a vocal), and also satisfy the curiosity of those wondering what Ernest Ranglin sounds like. ~ Scott Yanow
