Blue Cadillac songs
$12.79 JOHN "JUKE" LOGAN has, on multiple occasions over the past two decades, been the harmonica-player-of-choice for RY COODER, LOS LOBOS, ETTA JAMES, BO DIDDLEY, JOHN LEE HOOKER, LUCINDA WILLIAMS, DAVE ALVIN, LEON RUSSELL, films such as "CROSSROADS" (the Walter Hill feature about the blues) & "MIDNIGHT RUN", & TV shows such as "ROSEANNE" & "HOME IMPROVEMENT" & many others. LOGAN'S original compositions have been covered by many, recorded by the likes of JOHN MAYALL, The PALADINS & GARY PRIMICH, used by film & TV & honored with commentary like: "he's the Willie Dixon of the 90's & beyond... just listen to the lyrics" (-"Squrl", KMCQ Oregon). Juke's radio show (with co-host Ellen bloom), The FRIDAY NIGHT BLUES BEVUE, ran for 8 years on KPCC & was one of Southern California's most popular public radio roots-music programs. JUKE'S previous two albums, The CHILL (Razor & Tie, '92), & JUKE RHYTHM (Mocombo, '98) (both released in Europe on Virgin) were called "groove-filled blasts" (-Album Network),and were comprised entirely of his original ...

Blue Cadillac music CDs
$20.29 THERE'S A TEAR IN MY BEER contains tracks recorded for Everstate records from 1949 to 1950, and songs recorded for Capitol from 1951 to 1953.
Big Bill Lister's importance in the annals of country music stems more from his association with Hank Williams than his music. One of Williams' closest friends, Lister recorded Williams' composition "There's a Tear in My Beer" in 1952. Lister then made country music history decades later by rediscovering Williams' original acetate demo of the song and giving it to Hank ...

| | Teardrop Explodes Wilder CD (1981) Remastered
Blue Cadillac album
$10.15 Originally planned as THE GREAT DOMINIONS a full year beforehand, The Teardrop Explodes' sophomore effort only saw light in 1981. By this point, the public's fascination with the band was already on the wane. Not for the last time in his career, Julian Cope was busy fashioning obscurity from a potentially winning position. Against the backdrop of a group falling apart--and his own increasingly acid-fuelled instability--Cope somehow dispatched a minor psychedelic pop classic.
WILDER is less densely layered than its predecessor KILIMANJARO, relying all too heavily on string synthesizers for texture and cute electronic ...
| | George Strait It Just Comes Natural CD (2006)
Blue Cadillac CD music
$10.79 Such a perfect title for a George Strait album it's a wonder it hasn't been used before, IT JUST COMES NATURAL showcases one of the all-time great Nashville country singers in his natural habitat. Surrounded by fiddles, steel guitars, mandolins, and other signifiers of the new traditionalist country sound that he remains loyal to more than a quarter-century into his career, Strait delivers 15 wry breakup songs (first single, "Give ...

| | Don Walser Live On The Air!-The Texas Plainsmen CD (2007)
Blue Cadillac songs
$12.65 Austin Chronicle reveiw:BY JERRY RENSHAWIf you hung out at a VFW or Legion Hall in such West Texas hotspots as Monahans, Lamesa, Big Spring, or Midland in 1964, you may have run into the Texas Plainsmen, with thirtyish Donnie Walser strumming that jumbo Gibson acoustic and yodeling his heart out. A doff of the ten-gallon Resistol is in order for Mark Rubin, the man responsible for unearthing this radio transcription and releasing it. Originating from Midland's KJBC Radio, these broadcasts find Walser front and center of a journeyman Western swing band, with Billy "The Kid" Richter on that big Gretsch takeoff guitar. It's a snapshot of small-town West Texas in the early Sixties, complete with ads for Ken's Midnight Coiffures, Bozo's Burgers, and Allen's Shell between numbers. Walser's tenor is not as seasoned as the voice we're used to today, but it's still unmistakable. If the Plainsmen's theme song sounds familiar, it's because it's the same melody as Patsy Montana's ...
