 Stupid with the good
The worse songs this band ever made are on here. But so are the best ones. I think it is stupid that the record company is trying to mix fake poserfans with the real Genesis fans

 You're Right
Even from a purely progressive standpoint, ATTWT is better than Wind and Wuthering. The songs are more affecting and have a desperate, haunted quality. That kid obviously had an agenda, although I agree that eventually the Phil Collins Genesis became elite from a prog standpoint (Invisible Touch and after). This comp is interesting and has a political statement to make. The Genesis and early-Collins period are represented with a tasteful choice of songs, but the post-ATTWT Collins is represnted only with hits. It's a cynical statement but perhaps, ultimately, a true one.

 oh please
if you can't handle it don't listen....but the core of genesis is what lasted through we can't dance. besides what's your beef with ATTWT? since obviously you ignorantly discard the later albums due to the change in overall sound but how is ATTWT so much different than W&W?

 Songs 1-23 do not count as Genesis
Only half this album even counts as Genesis as the band ended after Wind and Wuthering.
