EC was there I attended the Saturday night show at Grant Street Dancehall. The most creative guitarist of my generation still alive. I have attended about 20 Landreth shows and this was the most intense performance of his that I have seen. Killer and EC was there for the Saturday show. By magoo (Ponchatoula, La)
I wish this was on DVD too! amazing live recording. flawless. I only wish they would have had the video cameras rolling too. The band is amazing. the drummer lays down some nasty grooves for sonny's fantastic playing. highly recommended. By jeff (Arizona, USA)
Recommended by a friend...Thanks Joanie!!! Up until now I have never heard of Sonny Landreth.Usually it takes me a while to get used to a new artist but after hearing "Grant Street" for the first time there was an instant connection. This guy can flat out play the guitar and yet it seems as though he is rock and blues best kept secret. This CD has it all, from rockers like "Native Stepson", "USS Zydecosmobile" (my personal favorite.) to blusey songs like "Broken Hearted Road",and "Wind in Denver" just to name a few. There isn't one bad song here, definately worth the money and then some. After hearing this CD I can't wait to see him in concert. By Phil (Mentor,Ohio)
