| | Nintendo DS (Dual-Screen) Sprung (2 Customer Reviews)
Sprung has you meeting, flirting and hooking up as you engage in a risque, daring adventure with sexy singles at Snowbird Mountain, a hip ski resort in Colorado. Be naughty or nice, as you have the freedom to say and try what you wish on one of two adventure paths -- one as a guy, one as a girl. Complete the game's 50 dating missions and deal with the drama queens and kings who you'll have to come to understand in order to woo. Colleen McGuinnes of TV's North Shore scripted the stimulating storylines and sexy characters for the game. Sprung Games Review Average Rating: (2.5 out of 5 stars) Not for everyone. This game is not for the normal gamer out there. This dating-sim is all text, and to some extent, item based.
You can play as Brett, the hopelessly lost at dating guy or Becky, the girl that everyone wants. Brett is 'Sprung' on Becky since they grew up together and always had a crush on her, but she doesn't think of him in that manner. Becky on the other hand wants to forget about her recent breakup and want's to have fun. These two get into many situations with their friends and love interests and their friends' love interests, all of it set at a ski resort.
I've played through both sides and I find the game to my liking. But if you're not into the dating-sim style game, don't buy, just borrow. Submitted by Sam S. (MA, USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
A multiple-choice text-adventure Normally I like that kind of thing, if it's fun. This one in my eyes is very long and dreary and doesn't bring out the really nice feature of a double screen - you choose an answer on the lower screen to see a minimal reaction on the top screen (for example a slight change in posture of the comic-style person on the top screen) and can read the answer you get on that screen - then on to the next question. Nearly no sound-animation. I quit the game after 20 minutes and only felt "what a waste of money". If you want an enjoyable fun game that makes excellent use of the double screen and is even fun playing in a group buy "Feel the magic XX/XY". Submitted by Iris (Europe) Was This Review Helpful? Sprung cheats
$16.05 CHRONO CROSS, the sequel to the SNES favorite CHRONO TRIGGER, is one of the most ambitious role-playing games ever made. There are over 40 playable characters, each with their back-story, special moves, abilities, and weapons. The story spans two discs and follows the story of Serge, a young man who is able to cross dimensions. Suddenly he is pulled between worlds, trying to figure out his own past at the same time. The graphics are bright and beautiful, utilizing the PlayStation's capabilities to the fullest. The polygonal character models are huge and detailed, and the pre-rendered backgrounds are immaculately detailed. The music is composed and arranged by Yasunori Mitsuda, and features very realistic-sounding synthesizers. The battle system revolves around Elements, which are used to grant magical powers, as well as to summon huge monsters. For anyone that wanted to see the story of CHRONO TRIGGER continue, this is your chance.
