This is the best TV western I've every seen. It does have extremely bad language in it, but it is realistic.

| Great show!!!
Deadwood is one of those rare shows that succeeds at capturing the realism and violence of the Old West. Each cast member brings a special quality to their character. For some,this show might be too graphic,but I think this is as close as it's going to get to the Old West.

What can I say about deadwood, It's just genius and to have a mind like David Milch must be out of this world just like this TV drama.

This is so realistic, it's as if you've been transplanted to the Black Hills of 1876! The performances, especially that of Ian McShane are outstanding! I watched every episode on HBO, and loved them just as much on DVD. I probably have 20 or more box sets, and this one is the best by far. The packaging is beautiful! I highly recommend this set.
