Closed Captioned; Standard Screen; Soundtrack English When their basset hound Barney disappears into the picture they were coloring, Laurie and Scott follow him and find themselves transported to Sillyville, where trees and rocks can talk and everyone is defined by the color of their clothes. None of the different groups are playing together any more, so Sillywhim and the children come up with a plan to get everyone talking to one another again. The Wee Sing kids perform silly songs and dances to keep preschoolers amused. In a subtle way, "Wee Sing in Storyville" manages to make an effective plea for racial and cultural understanding and acceptance.

Again I am purchasing this movie.... We originally saw this movie 18 years ago. My children were babies. When my daughter married and she had a two year old stepdaughter, we ordered it for her. I have asked my daughter where her copy of the movie is and she has worn it out. So, again we are getting another copy for her now nine year old, five year old and two year old daughter. Having watched it with her brothers years ago, it is, to our family, a classic!!!!!

I am 20 years old and have three older sisters. We remember watching this movie when we were younger. We used to watch it everyday. This is a must have for every kid. I just bought another copy for myself, it brings back old memories.

 Great childrens sing along!
My son is only 9 months, but he loves to watch all the colorful people and listen to all of the great songs. This is a great movie for kids.

Good moral lessons
This movie focuses on the issue of people segregating themselves because they wear a different color....ie. blue, green, orange clothes. The children and one lady that has lost all her colors tries to reunite them. When she gets hurt, they all come together to help her. When they wrap her ankle with each color scarf, they remember how beautiful it is to mix colors. This film is wonderful to use to teach children that we all are equal in God's eyes, no matter the color of our skin.
