THE HYPESelwyn Hillis (Warren Fitzgerald), a beat down erotic cake baker with grandiose culinary ambitions and an abusive girlfriend (Pam Gidley - Cherry 2000) is forced to leave town in a hurry, so he grabs a quick job as a roadie for punk rock superstars No Use For A Name. On the road with the band, Selwyn learns a whole new meaning of the word abuse and eventually gets unceremoniously dumped in the middle of nowhere. Encouraged by his hot new handicapped girlfriend (Sheila Platte), Selwyn goes for the baking gold in an "Iron Chef" style showdown with the Master Baker of France, Pierre Kiniche. Directed by Joe Escalante (The Vandals, That Darn Punk, Fear of a Punk Planet) and shot on 16mm and 35mm film, "Cake Boy" is a punk rock comedy road trip that will make you believe in miracles (except with respect to the girl in the wheel chair, she actually stays there). What probably represents one of the last D.I.Y. features that will ever be shot on film at the dawn of the digital age, "Cake Boy," is the second in the series of features produced by the film division of Kung Fu Records, an internationally distributed independent record label. Our mission is to serve our fans, not festivals or big screens. Who will enjoy this film? Fans of "Napoleon Dynamite". That's who. That is our message, if you liked "Napoleon Dynamite", you are going to like this film. Cake Boy Soundtrack Music Cake Boy Soundtrack Songs | 1. | no use for a name-no way to live |

Cake Boy Soundtrack album
$7.59 Emma Bunton, better known as Baby Spice of late-1990s British bubblegum band the Spice Girls, emerges in 2001 with a debut featuring 12 tracks of spirited pop out of her former band's playbook.
Emma Bunton's post-Spice Girls solo debut is the most surprising of the lot, as it moves farther afield from the bubblegummy dance-pop of her former band than Melanie C.'s Northern Star or Geri Halliwell's Schizophonic. The single "What Took You So Long?" opens the album on a gliding cushion of acoustic guitars, dreamy keyboards, and laid-back mid-tempo beats, a mix that underpins nearly the entire album. ...

Cake Boy Soundtrack album
$13.55 In RESURRECTING THE CHAMP, Samuel L. Jackson sheds the cooler-than-thou persona he's perfected in films such as PULP FICTION. But even previous turns as the downtrodden characters in CHANGING LANES and BLACK SNAKE MOAN are nothing compared to the role of Champ in this film from director Rod Lurie (THE LAST CASTLE). Jackson transforms into a homeless man, completely changing his voice and carriage to reflect someone who has lived on the street for years. When the audience first meets Champ, he is being attacked by a group of 20-something men. A sports journalist named Erik Kernan (Josh Hartnett, THE BLACK DAHLIA) happens upon the scene and rescues Champ from a brutal beating. But it's Erik who needs rescuing as well: his job at the Denver Times is in jeopardy as a result of his pedestrian prose, and his marriage to a fellow journalist (Kathryn Morris, COLD CASE) is on equally shaky ground. In finding Champ, he's found his story. Champ isn't an average man living on the street. Instead, he boasts ...
