Well who would have thought i would write a review for this show.. i never watched it but my daughter who is 14 did and whilst surfing the net and logging onto cd universe, here i discover the first series being released on dvd..So being the good mother i am, its not spoiling your kids if you give it freely!! i bought it for my daughter and we waited for there arrival here in hot and sunny west australia.. they came, we saw and we were blown away..no wonder this series has lasted as long as it has..its brillliant, not childish as i thought but a great source of entertainment and how i wish i was a witch like the halliwell sisters.. it has great story lines, great performances by all actors involved and even has cameo appearances of actors who now are well know,..like that guy from blade 2..you know the one!! anyhow i thouroughly recommend cd universe to anyone they are proffesional and are at call mon- frid if you have a querie or such and love feedback..we love you!!!!

Great purchase
I have been waiting for along time for this to be released and glad that CD Universe had it in. It was well worth the wait, it brought back plenty of memories of the show back then.

This is the first TV series I get hook on, at the very second episode.
The three girls are a real charm and you get to love them from the start.
Even though the special effects are terrible, at least in the first season, the story lines and acting are superb. I have enjoyed almost every single episode of the series.
This has been one of the best TV series I have ever watched.

I have always watched Charmed since it came on TV. I like the show very much and have been waiting for the DVD since they started making them for TV shows. I am also waiting for them to put Witchblade on DVD. I would like that very much.

"Sharpe's Gold" - Gold, guns and greed find Major Richard Sharpe once again in mortal danger deep behind enemy lines. While searching for a stash of hidden Aztec gold, Sharpe gets tangled up with some ruthless gun traders, a fierce partisan leader, and a beautiful young Irish girl.
"Sharpe's Battle" - British officer Richard Sharpe is charged with preparing the Royal Irish Company, a largely ceremonial outfit led by Lord Kiely, for their first battle.
