Luvpark
$13.45 Personnel: Houston Person (tenor saxophone); Ron Carter (upright bass). Issued in 2008 on the Highnote jazz label, JUST BETWEEN FRIENDS finds lauded tenor saxophonist Houston Person collaborating with the legendary bassist Ron Carter. As on their previous duet album, `02's DIALOGUES, the pair presents a spare, laid-back set of standards that includes elegant renditions of "How Deep Is the Ocean?" and "Darn That Dream" among others. Immediately, Houston Person's saxophone and Ron Carter's bass meld so fluidly and effortlessly -- and create such a complete picture -- that it's easy to forget that they are the only two musicians playing. Drums are not missed, nor are piano, horns, or anything else: Person and Carter's communication skills here, as on their previous outings together, are never in doubt; ...

Audio Mixer: John Guess. Recording information: Masterfonics Studio 6; Sound Stage Studios, Nashville, TN. Photographer: Victoria Pearson-Cameron. Unknown Contributor Role: John Hughey. Vince Gill had already enjoyed country success before 1992's I Still Believe in You, but it was the album's four number one singles and almost immediate platinum status that assured the honey-voiced performer's fame and staying power. Gill's delivery is as smooth as the glass surface of a secluded mountain swimming hole, shifting from promise and pain to love and loneliness with easy charm and the occasional touch of his high lonesome background ("No Future in ...

Luvpark
$11.39 "The Journey" of a lifetime...... Some people will say, "The Journey has just begun." Others cry out,"Let the Journey begin!" From the lips of Tracy Maree & Robyn Lee, The Journey began years ago.....And it keeps on running! With you included! Raised on a farm (yes with chickens, pigs, and all that country fresh air)in the small town of Washington, Michigan along with their younger sister Shannon, the Lewis Sisters worked the farm and were taught about love, life, and hard work. Magical childhood memories and cousin Lynn's guitar turned into dreams of stardom. Hard times didn't seem so hard with family plays starring "The Lewis Sisters". Loretta Lynn, Johnny Cash, Roy Clark, Bonnie Raitt and Elvis Presley could be heard around the house and were all influences. At age 12, Grandma bought Robyn her first guitar. From that moment on she was writing songs for "the Sisters" to belt out.Tracy and Robyn were in talent shows, fairs, musicals, community theatre, variety shows and pageants. This tall, talented twosome was heating up everything from pig roasts and barbeques to TV shows like "The Big Break". One of Tracy and Robyn's songs was a placement in one of Ford Motor Company's concept cars.In 1995, Tracy Maree & Robyn Lee, also known as "The Lewis Sisters", released their 1st CD single, "Coming From The Heart", under their own record label "Sister Street Entertainment Corp.". Tracy and Robyn's songwriting showcases their unique blend of harmonies. Robyn says, "We have that great sister blend happening". Tracy adds, "Our bond is so strong that it's creepy at times...a kind of telepathy". In the fall season of 2000, these two sisters, along with producers and long time friends, Allen and Randall Lynch, traveled the road to Nashville to start the recording of their second album. Tracy and Robyn's "down home" storytelling matched with Nashville's best pickers and players "set toes ...
