 | J was 3 years old....
In 1964 Christmas time,my Mamy was listening a vinil 33 lp.It was in the collection of 10 lp of Reader's Digest, first is a celebration to George Gershwin.The lp start with the incredible "Clarino Glissando" of the "Rhapsody in blue".Mamy tell me,she remembered my face while J listened the Rhapsody. This collection now is my home... this cd is the same of vinil 33 lp. J think this edition is the best in all the story of pubblication.Earl Wild play too much better then other,all other.Now J have on cd the Better edit of the "Rhapsody in blue". Thank "CdUniverse" for this my new pleasure to keep on the hands of Great George.

Interesting because of historic notes and significance of the material recorded. However, the performance lacks vitality and comes off often as tedious and flat.
