It's about the music. Right?
I bought this disc since it is an awesome performance of awesome music. For you audio geeks the sound quality will stand up quite well to any contemporary Classical recordings.

Absolutely Amazing!!!
Back in the early 40's, the first vinyl my mom provided for me was a recording of Scheherezade. I played it so often and heard it elsewhere so frequently after that that it almost began to sound trite to me - ignorant slob that I am! I never replaced it in my collection because of that fact.

With this remaster the SACD layer destroys all previous digital versions that are available including the XRCD version. If you have a SACD player this recording is a MUST HAVE.
