new review On their first album, they already put Tolkien's themes in their fantasy,The song "Mayesty" talks about gandalf and Aragorn, then the song "run for the night" talks about the end of the third period, return of Sauron and war for the ring."By the gates of moria" and "gandalf's rebirht" are instrumentals.Along with the songs who are inspired by Tolkien, there is "Martyr".This song probably talks about Jesus."Battalions of Fear"talks about America, and some new nuclear war. Beside Tolkiens fantasy, who needs that? By gandalf (Belgrade, Serbia and Montenegro)
Begining Oh,Majesty.Run for the Night and buy. This is just begining, their first album and it is just(i dont have a words)startling, fascinate By gandalf (Belgrade, Serbia and Montenegro)
The Start of a Masterpeice Blind Guardian rocks in the 80's just as much as they do now. This band defines what melodic speed metal is. If your into a fast in your face type of metal there is now question about this album, band or song #3. By emdnv (USofA)
AMAZING¡¡¡¡ GREAT AS ALL THE ALBUMS THEY RELEASE. BUY IT NOW¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡ By NNNN (MIDDLEEARTH)
Great First Album!! I must say Blind Guardian was an excellent band from the start. This album is heavier than most of their future releases, and brings to mind Helloween. Be sure to check out Guradian of the blind and the title song. True Euro-Metal classics. By a reviewer (Cleveland OH) This review is for a different format.
