Follow The Blind album Product Description
Follow The Blind album by Blind Guardian was released Feb 08, 2005 on the Century Media label. Further establishing Blind Guardian's position among the second generation of power metal elite, Follow the Blind -- the group's sophomore release -- represents a significant step forward for the metal outfit. Follow The Blind CD music The music kicks off appropriately enough with some spooky medieval chanting on "Inquisition" that quickly gives way to song after song of sweeping power metal. Production is at a premium for music as spastic and detailed as this, so even though this early-career effort is more than a modest improvement over the debut, Battalions of Fear, the bigger-budget efforts that came after Follow the Blind capture Blind Guardian's epic musical vision. That is not to say that the record is without its moments. Standouts like "Banish From Sanctuary," "Hall of the King," and "Don't Break the Circle" deliver all the first-rate guitar changes and double-kick and vocal workouts that fans of this genre insist on. ~ Vincent Jeffries Additional personnel includes: Kai Hansen (guitar, background vocals). Personnel: Hansi Kürsch (vocals); André Olbrich, Marcus Siepen (guitar, background vocals); Thomen Stauch (drums). Audio Mixer: Kalle Trapp. Recording information: Karo Studios, Munster, Germany (01/1989-02/1989). Blind Guardian: Hansi Kürsch (bass guitar); André Olbrich, Marcus Siepen, Thomen Stauch.

Not their best, but great none the less. I can't believe how much people bash this album. Blind Guardian has never released a bad album and never will, in my opinion this is among their best. "this sucks, it doesn't talk about lord of the rings!"- who cares, you nerd? What makes Blind Guardian great is their amazingly intricate solos and overall impressive musicianship. And the subject matter of the lyrics don't really matter, Hansi could sing about a dog turd and make it sound good. So actually give this a couple good listens before you bash it, anyone interested in buying this don't listen to these 'tards. By John (Somewhere Far Beyond)
Follow Their first album is very good and with that album they have bright future. They dont have good lyrics, and lyrics dont have simmilar themes with Lord of the rings or Tolkien.Good songs are:"Banish from the Sanctury",Follow the blind" and "Hall of the king".You can also see and hear the special guest,Kai from Halloween. This album is average, but you must hear Imaginations from the other side,Tales from the twilight world,A night at the opera and ofcorse Nightfall in middle earth By Gandalf (Belgrade, Serbia and Montenegro)
new review "Follow the Blind" is their second album, and the worst."Banish from the Sanctuary"talks about Johan the Baptist, about his relationship with god and Jesus.Sorry, but that doesnt have any connection with Tolkien."damned for all time" is inspired by 'Eternal Champion' of Michael Murkok."Follow the Blind" is about 'Talisman'Stephen King's book.... By gandalf (Belgrade, Serbia and Montenegro)
More of the same junk I'm tired of these idiots. Why can't they call it a day and stop torturing our ears? By metalcy (fatsoland, fat, fatter)
