Revolver, an R-rated crime thriller, originally released in America as Blood In the Streets, stars Oliver Reed and Fabio Testi, and is directed by the legendary Sergio Sollima. Grand Slam, a classic heist thriller stars Edward G. Robinson, Klaus Kinski, Janet Leigh, and Adolfo Celi, and features an ultra-swinging score by Ennio Morricone. Extras include interviews, theatrical trailers, radio spots, posters, still galleries, and talent bios. GRAND SLAM: An action-packed heist film in the tradition of RIFIFI and TV's MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE series, this adventure centers around an unassuming schoolteacher and his plot--30 years in the making--to steal a diamond cache from a seemingly impermeable Rio de Janeiro vault. He assembles a select group of international specialists to carry out his elaborate, meticulous plan, and all goes accordingly until the group encounters The Grand Slam 70, a super-security system that stands to put a halt to the whole operation. Featuring a cast of Hollywood and international notables, including Klaus Kinski (AGUIRRE: THE WRATH OF GOD, NOSFERATU), Janet Leigh (PSYCHO), Adolfo Celi (THUNDERBALL), and Edward G. Robinson (DOUBLE INDEMNITY, SOYLENT GREEN), this much-imitated film also boasts a stellar score by Ennio Morricone.
REVOLVER: Veteran Spaghetti Western director Sergio Sollima presents a gritty crime drama of surprising subtlety, a B-movie thriller accompanied by a fantastic score by Ennio Morricone (THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UGLY, KILL BILL). Former cop Vito Cipriani (Oliver Reed), who now works as a prison warden, is forced to free a convicted criminal (Fabio Testi, FOUR OF THE APOCALYPSE) when his wife is kidnapped and held ransom. In order to track her down, he must become like the criminals he abhors, and as a kidnapping turns into evidence of government conspiracy, Cipriani takes the law into his own hands. Both Reed and Testi turn in charismatic, powerful performances, and the film is notable for its restraint, painting a portrait of the mostly gray areas between the black and white notions of good and evil.

Action Packed! Two-Fer: Grand Slam/Revolver film
$11.25 The quintessential '80s teen romance, this film has retained its poignancy into the next century with its ability to entertain and amuse while remaining intelligent and packed with real emotion that anyone can empathize with. John Cusack plays Lloyd Dobler, a high schooler on the cusp of graduation who devotes himself to the pursuit of Diane Court (Ione Skye), the aloof class valedictorian who happens to be beautiful as Corey (Lily Taylor), Lloyd's best friend puts it, "a brain trapped in the body of a game show hostess." When Lloyd calls Diane to invite her to a graduation party, she doesn't know who he is, but she's charmed by his nervous chatter and surprises everyone by accepting. Lloyd at first even manages to charm Diane's overprotective father Jim Court (John Mahoney) as well, with whom Diane is very close, though Jim can't see why his daughter is wasting her time with Lloyd.
The party scene in SAY ANYTHING ranks among the best ever, with Eric Stoltz making a cameo as the party host, Lily Taylor as the ultimate lovelorn rock chick, and even Chynna Phillips putting in an appearance. After their successful first date, Diane asks Lloyd to dinner with her father and some of his associates; there, when asked ...
