When Kelly, Rey & Chris were visiting Miami Beach for an industry event, the three met Cooper, who had just finished school at the University of Miami and was also at the event. The three played a rough recording of their group for Cooper. Upon hearing the band for the first time, Cooper was struck by their high-level of musicianship and knew that he had found his new band. He knew that his voice and style was a perfect fit for the band and talked the guys into going out for drinks at a local South Beach karaoke bar. After hearing Cooper sing, the guys agreed that they had found the vocalist they needed. Cooper moved to Orlando and I=nterlaken was born.
