This Limited Edition DVD with a bonus CD contains 75 minutes of ive concert footage, along with footage of Anthony's homecoming moments in Charlotte, N.C., a performance of the National Anthem at the Charlotte Bobcats game, behind-the-scenes footage of concert rehearsals and an intimate look at Anthony on his tour bus during The Silk and Sandpaper Tour with Angie Stone. The bonus CD contains previously unreleased tracks. Though his career didn't happen overnight, Anthony Hamilton succeeded with his 2003 album COMIN FROM WHERE I'M FROM to fully assert name on the R&B charts. Having worked with Donnel Jones, Sunshine Anderson, D'Angelo, Eve, 2Pac, and the Nappy Roots, Hamilton was no stranger to the music business when this breakthrough album was released. In fact, COMIN FROM WHERE I'M FROM--nominated for the 2004 Grammy Award For Best Contemporary R&B album--was technically his fourth record (although his two earliest albums were never released). Hamilton's soul vocals, which have been compared to music legends such as Bobby Womack and Bill Whithers, shine through in this concert release. Performing at the Civic Center in Atlanta, GA, Hamilton sings 12 fan favorites including: the title track "Coming From Where I'm From," "Charlene," "My First Love," "Cornbread, Fish, and Collard Greens," and "Since I Haven't Seen You." | | Gerry Mulligan Meets Johnny Hodges CD (1960) Remastered; Digipak
Anthony Hamilton - Live film
$8.69 Gerry Mulligan's 1959 studio date with Johnny Hodges is one of the most satisfying sessions of his various meetings with different saxophonists for Verve, yet it was inexplicably the last to be made available on CD. With a hand-picked rhythm section consisting of pianist Claude Williamson, bassist Buddy Clark, and drummer Mel Lewis, and three originals contributed by each of the two leaders, everything gels nicely, though several tracks took more than three takes (in spite of liner note writer Nat Hentoff's assertions) to reach their final form. Mulligan contributed the gorgeous ballad "What's the Rush" (where he sat back to enjoy Hodges' solo and never plays his own horn), the easygoing swinger "Bunny," and the brisk cooker "18 Carrots (For Rabbit)," the latter which ...

Anthony Hamilton - Live movie DVD
$9.59 (MP3 Available for Download) After the success of his 2003 album, COMIN' FROM WHERE I'M FROM, R&B/soul singer Anthony Hamilton followed up in earnest during 2005, first with a collection of previously unreleased tunes, SOULIFE, and then with another new studio record, AIN'T NOBODY WORRYIN'. This latter disc truly solidifies Hamilton's sterling reputation; it's an utterly confident outing that nods to 1970s soul music without being beholden to the style of that era. In fact, Hamilton's deft balancing of both vintage soul and contemporary production ...

$200.09 No show captured the eccentricities of New York like the Larry David-created sitcom SEINFELD. Helping to define America's view of New Yorkers, the series gained endless fans over its nine season run. Though it wasn't the first show to assert the rudeness of Gotham's citizens, its characters are selfish to a fault--not that there's anything ...
