Animated; Standard Screen; English Subtitles; Dolby Digital 5.1 Re With basketball action, comedy, and romance, SLAM DUNK is considered by many to be the finest sports Animé ever produced. Sakuragi has joined the basketball team in the hopes of impressing Haruko, the girl of his dreams. But his fiery nature causes trouble with his teammates, especially team captain Takenori and star player Rukawa, who is jealous of Sakuragi's natural abilities. In VOLUME TWO, Sakuragi begins to tire of going to practice and running basic drills. He prefers to slam dunk and perform other flashy moves, but Takenori and Coach Anzai try to show him the necessity of the game's fundamentals. However, even as Sakuragi is honing his skills, the coach of the Judo team also sees great potential in him, and tries to woo him away from the basketball team to the Judo squad. Slam Dunk - Vol. 2 Movie Review Average Rating: (5 out of 5 stars) Classic Anime As said before, Slam Dunk is truly a classic anime that anyone can enjoy.
The show blends memorable, likable characters, hilarious antics of the characters, drama, and intense basketball games that make you cheer for the heroes.
Volume 2 continues the hilarious antics of Sakuragi. Sakuragi has trouble in a practice game, fights with the captain of the Judo Team, and learns to lay-up from both his rival, Rukawa and the love of his life, Haruko. Despite no drama or real intense drama, these episodes continue to bring us closer to the characters as well as make us laugh out loud.
Classic anime.
